1st October 2024, JPUT announced the official launch of ‘VesselConnect’. JPUT’s cutting-edge groundbreaking digital platform which revolutionises barge and vessel management within the maritime industry.

On 19th March 2021, UT Singapore Services Pte Ltd was renamed as Jurong Port Universal Terminal Pte Ltd.

IMO2020 came into effect in January and the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 a Pandemic in March.
Despite these 2 major events that altered the landscape of the shipping industry, the Terminal continued to contribute about 30% of the total Singapore bunker volumes.

On 29th December 2015, Universal Terminal (S) Pte Ltd was renamed UT Singapore Services Pte Ltd with the introduction of a third shareholder.

Continuing the expansion project to increase capacity, 5 additional new tanks that came into service on 21st August 2013.
Total capacity : 2,326,800 m³

An expansion project commenced in July 2012. 3 new jetties, OMU 15, 16 & 17 were added to increase the total number of jetties to 15 on 30th October 2012.

Approval by Maritime Port Authority of Singapore on 1st April 2008 to be the first Terminal in Singapore to have its own in-house Dockmasters and became the first Terminal in Singapore to have online bunker barge berthing nomination system.

Construction of the Terminal started in 2005 and was completed ahead of time in 2007 with 73 Tanks and 12 Jetties. Operations commenced on 1st January 2008.

On 1 February 2023, JPUT commissioned both pipelines connected to Horizon Terminal.
On 23 February 2021, JPUT was incorporated with new shareholdings held by Jurong Port Meranti Holding Pte Ltd, MAIF Investments Singapore Pte Ltd and PetroChina International (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
